Cleveland's Downtown Population Growing

USA Today highlighted how and why urban neighborhoods are growing in a great article today. It discusses how urban centers are growing, and much of the population is thanks to young college educated professionals. The national news source highlighted Cleveland and said the following:
In Cleveland, which lost 17% of its population, downtown added 1,300 college-educated people ages 25 to 34, up 49%.

If that isn't a reason to be happy in Cle, I don't know what is. News like this is EXACTLY what keeps Cleveland City Living (the blog and in real life) moving and groving.

This so very encouraging. Though this is not a regional or even a state thing, this is a national thing. Many, many people are deciding they want to live in the central areas of big cities. I myself am currently planning to move to downtown in a few more years.
