Rock Hall Summer In The City Concert Series

Yesterday I finally was able to check out the FREE summer concerts at The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Das Racist was performing, and I almost bought tickets to see them at Pitchfork this weekend- so it was a great plus to be able to see them with a more intimate crowd and of course, for free! The show was great, it was easily accessible by bike, and the crowd was a cool mix. Food trucks and a beer tent rounded out the evening nicely. The venue is more than anyone could ask for- THE museum of music, with perfect sunsets over beautiful Lake Erie. I can't wait to go next week! Check out the full line up for the rest of the season here. This is a major reason to be Happy In Cle!

Recap: Made In The 216

This Friday I had the pleasure of riding my bike over to East 4th Street for an evening of shopping and mingling at the street's only retail venue, Dredgers Union. Danielle Deboe's latest retail venture hosted her event, Made In The 216, a collaboration of local artists and designers for sale goods and it was a fabulous party! The crowd was perfection, the vibe on the street was buzzing, and the selections were amazing! If my wallet was bottomless I would have needed a moving truck to take home all of the furniture I wanted. If you haven't checked out the store yet, make sure to stop in. Bravo to a great weekend in CLE! What did you do this weekend that inspired you?

4th of July Weekend in The CLE

Happy long weekend and Happy Independence Day Clevelanders! I hope your weekends are filled with cookouts, BBQ, beers, and plenty of sparklers! Make sure to check out Cleveland.com for their comprehensive list of firework displays across North Eastern Ohio, which can be found here. For the first time I will be checking out the fireworks from The Federal Knitting Mill Building's wonderful roofdeck, and I can't wait!

If you are looking for some other activities for the weekend be sure to check out Ohio City's Open Air in Market Square which runs on Saturdays between 11am - 5pm. Market Garden Brewery on W. 25th is now open (and delicious!) as is Valerie Mayen's newest Yellowcake Pop Up Shop, which is also on W. 25th. Its looking like an Ohio City Weekend! Enjoy!
