December unemployment rates in Cuyahoga, contiguous counties beat Ohio

According to The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Cuyahoga county is a full percentage point below the state level of unemployment. This is great new for Cleveland residents and those potentially relocating to our city by the lake!

From Crain's Cleveland:

The December unemployment rate in Cuyahoga County was 8.6%, a full percentage point below Ohio's jobless rate of 9.6%...You can find a ranking of unemployment rates in all 88 Ohio counties here and a color map here.

The map shows that unemployment is lowest in and around the state's big cities of Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati
